Welcome to our Website!  The Alpha Thrift Store is locally owned and operated by the Alpha Resource Center of Santa Barbara.  Your purchases help us in our efforts to provide crucial financial support for the programs and services that we provide.  We appreciate your patronage and hope that you enjoy your shopping experience.  We are a local charitable 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.

For over 30 years, our success has been due to many factors, but primarily to the community's active support of Santa Barbaran's with developmental disabilities.  This support has had a positive impact on all of us.  Besides providing financial support for the services offered by Alpha Resource Center, Alpha Thrift Store also serves as a significant recycling agent, a source of material goods for people who may not have other alternatives and an established community employer of people both with and without disabilities.  Besides, it's a fun and popular place to shop!
